Filename Interpreter (library plugin)

This is a library plugin that interprets filenames and ID3 tags of digital files, and sends the results to the Artist, Album and Track fields of QCD.

Usage: Simply install to the QCD plugins folder, restart QCD, put Filename Interpreter before the CDDB plugin and restart again.

Functionality (using default settings):

• Remove extension
• Remove track number (D:\Music\Madonna - Music\07 Don't Tell Me.mp3)
• Remove drive letter (D:\Music)
• Convert underscores to spaces
• Convert the first letter of each word to uppercase
• Parse filename at delimiter string "-" and folder delimiter "\" (D:\Music\Madonna - Music\07 Don't Tell Me.mp3 -> Artist: Madonna; Album: Music; Track: Don't Tell Me)
• Remove leading and trailing spaces and underscores from fields
• Remove parenthesis, square braces and curly braces if surrounding entire field, or if only one is found (this is useful when filenames have the form "(Artist) Track Name.mp3"; delimiter will be ")" and the "(" will be removed from Artist field)

MiniQ (skin)

This is my first skin for QCD.

Please, keep in mind that it is truly small. No EQ, no eject, no vis. It was made with only CDs in mind, but it actually holds its own with digital files too, if you don't mind using hotkeys and right-click menus. It's the only skin I ever use. It's the same width as AIM, ICQ or whatever, so it fits snuggly in the side of the screen, always on top, without bothering me.
It does have everything I need for regular playback: play, pause, stop and track fwd/back buttons; album, artist and track names; timer; progress indicator; music calendar; volume control; shuffle; repeat.
