Log File has two configuration sections, for album log and track log:

Enable log  - Check this box to allow writing to the log file.

Log all albums  - If enable log file is checked, this box determines whether to add a line in the album log for all albums or only CDs. If this option is checked, any change in the "album" field will be entered in the album log.

Don't log ... if album field empty  - If enable log and log all albums are both checked, checking this box ensures that file data (anything but CD) will not be entered to the log unless an album name is found. This setting has no effect on CDs.

File name  - Full path to the log file.

Log string  - If enable log file is checked, this is the string that will be appended to the log each time an entry is added. Many tags can be used to log realtime data from QCD:
