Virtual Prince Music Page

full album list

Welcome to my music page. The above link will open an alphabetically ordered list of all the albums I have in my collection.

Some of the albums I have may be legally distributed (some live shows, for example), and if you are interested in a copy of any of these feel free to e-mail me at music00@vprince.com (see important note below). You may request either a B&P (see www.mcnichol.com/bnp if you don't know what that is) or temporary FTP access to my server to download uncompressed SHN files. My SHN files are either pure (never converted to audio) or audio which was extracted with no errors using Exact Audio Copy. All B&Ps I do are from those sources, and burned DAO.

My B&P guidelines:

  1. Unless otherwise noted, the rules and guidelines at www.mcnichol.com/bnp should be your B&P bible.

  2. Please mark each disc with what you want me to burn on it, including part number if applicable (disc 1, disc 2, etc.).

  3. Please include a note with your e-mail address and username (if applicable).

  4. If you want me to burn SHN files, please write it clearly on the CD or note. Otherwise, I will burn audio.

  5. Please do not include jewel cases in your package, and no boxes please. They will not fit in my mailbox. Please use common sense when preparing your package; if I have to go to the post office to pick it up I will either return the discs blank or throw away the entire package.

  6. Please send out your package within 2 weeks of signing up for the B&P. I reserve the right to throw away packages postmarked after that time, unless I was advised of the delay in advance.

  7. If you want to make any changes or cancel the B&P request, please use e-mail. Please do not change your request between what we agreed upon via e-mail and what’s on your note.

  8. If there is any form of "reward" in your package, the entire package will be thrown away. This includes cash, money orders, checks, loose stamps, etc.

  9. Before you mail your package, please make sure I will not have to lick or peel any stamps, mark any discs, or write any addresses.

In requesting music from me, you are agreeing not to compress it to any lossy audio format such as MP3.

There is no guarantee that I will be able to provide you with any album, but I'm usually happy to help so give it a try. If you're not sure if an album you're interested in may be legally traded, just ask. No harm in that.

Important note regarding e-mail: You must include the keyword tictac somewhere in the body (not the subject) of any e-mail sent to the address listed above. E-mail without that keyword will be rejected by my e-mail server as a method of spam prevention. I apologize for the inconvenience, but unfortunately there are too many robots out there scanning web pages for e-mail addresses.

'Nuff said. Enjoy the music!
